Baittens Farm and the four farm cottages are near Jedburgh. The property was the key to locating the Murray and Dalgleish families who lived in the Scottish Borders during the 19thC.

There are several cottages adjacent to Hallrulle farm in the Rule valley. Walter and Catherine Dalgleish occupied one of these cottages for six or more years. One of their longer periods of accommodation.

845 Rochdale Road was the first home owned by John & Dorothy Murray. It is situated on the A664 from Manchester to Rochdale and had open aspect to the rear and front.
